My Monday morning ☀️ newsletter is here to help you enjoy food again, improve your health, and stop the cycle of stress-eating and restrictive diets. With practical tips and compassionate guidance, you’ll strengthen your relationship with food, your body, and yourself, one week at a time.
On the heels of hosting a wonderful Health Fair this past week at a large non-profit (and presenting there today!) on diabetes prevention and treatment, I’m feeling especially inspired to keep the momentum going.
November is National Diabetes Month, and it’s the perfect time to check in on your A.B.C.s: A1C, Blood Pressure, and Cholesterol.
These numbers can help you catch small issues before they become big ones. It’s one of the easiest ways to take care of your future self.
✨ Friendly reminder: schedule your annual blood test and ask your doctor about your numbers.
Workplace Wellness Spotlight
Hosting a benefits fair or wellness week at your company?
That’s my jam. 🙋♀️
I work with small and large organizations to bring nutrition to life through:
Interactive health fair booths
Lunch & learns and workshops on realistic, non-diet health topics
Strategy sessions with HR teams to help employees actually use their nutrition benefits
When I partner with HR departments, employees can even get credit for attending plus, they gain the everyday value of having a dietitian in their pocket.
If your company wants to offer more fun, evidence-based workshops, fairs, and incentive programs, I’m your girl.
You can start the process (or introduce me to your HR contact) here:
And if you introduce me to your HR team and it leads to a partnership, I’ve got a few fun kitchen gadgets I’d love to send your way as a thank-you!
I’ve run dozens of corporate health events over the years, but this past one was the first time I ran my own booth under my company, REVV Health, at a large non-profit’s benefits fair.

My friend and colleague, Angie from Carpe Diem Nutrition, recently shared an awesome guide on The Best-Tasting Protein Bars (from an RD who knows!) 🍫

“Don’t let the past dominate your future. Don’t ever forget it. But don’t let it control or define your present.”
I heard that at my daughter’s Sunday school this week, and it really stuck with me... on so many levels.
Outside of the original context, it immediately made me think about eating disorder recovery and the journey toward intuitive eating.
The clients who’ve made peace with food (i.e., who no longer let past dieting, fear, or shame dictate their choices) are the ones who’ve learned to trust themselves again.
Your healing doesn’t mean forgetting where you’ve been; it means letting your past inform you, not control you.
It’s the perfect reminder that every small choice we make today, like checking our A.B.C.s or choosing a satisfying meal, creates the future we want to live in.
Until next time, stay curious, compassionate with yourself and loved ones, and a little (or a lot!) REVV’d to take care of your health.
